Step into the wonderful world of Ben Nguyen’s Hai Au Lang Nuong in Canley Vale. Opened in 1998 by the Nguyen family who fled Saigon as refugees, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, filled with history, culture and heritage. It is one of the most outstanding visual spectacles in Greater Western Sydney. The venue captures your eye before your nose even has a chance to smell the delicious aroma inside. Adorned with clay pots on the walls that Nguyen’s family used to use for cooking, this is an incredible spot to tackle the massive and affordable menu. Barbecue chicken and sugar cane prawns are a local favourite as well as the crispy sticky rice.
