Boomtown! Property & Infrastructure Summit 2021
We are proudly staging the region’s premier development event, the Boomtown! Summit, as a full-day conference promoting the transport, infrastructure and property projects that will help to grow the cities of the West, as well as addressing urban transformation, cities policy and governance reform.
This annual event, now in its sixth year, is where public and private sector leaders outline the policies and investments that will shape the future of the region. This event is designed to facilitate a dialogue between key decision-makers and stakeholder groups, and is delivered with the support of Transport for NSW, NSW Department of Planning, Industry & Environment and other Dialogue Partners.
Held this year at Olympic Park, Boomtown! ‘21 will focus on an infrastructure-led recovery, and legacy, in a post-pandemic economy. It will showcase Metro Rail and Faster Rail, plus Western Sydney Airport and the Aerotropolis, Med-Tech hubs at Westmead, Liverpool and Campbelltown, town centre renewal in the Central City, development issues affected by flooding, and precinct planning in the Western City.
We have secured new Premier of NSW, Dominic Perrottet to deliver the keynote address about State recovery with a Western Sydney focus, outgoing NSW Transport & Roads Minister Andrew Constance in his sixth and last Boomtown and former Federal Infrastructure Minister and now Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese on Labor’s transport & cities plans. Also invited are new head of NSW Planning, Kiersten Fishburn, Western Sydney Airport boss, Simon Hickey, Metro Rail CEO, Peter Regan, WPCA boss, Dr Sarah Hill, new TfNSW Secretary, Rob Sharp, and a few headline acts from the private construction, finance, planning and property development sectors
