Boomtown! Property & Infrastructure Summit 2018

This year, BOOMTOWN! has introduced a pre-conference dinner on Thursday 8 November with Friday 9 November
featuring the full-day summit.

The dinner includes the announcement of our Patrons’ Prizes for Excellence in Public Policy and the BOOMTOWN! Project of the Year Award with Mike Baird as our guest of honour. The inaugural winner of the award was Western Sydney University’s Parramatta CBD campus, “Peter Shergold Building” which has changed the regional design and innovation landscape.

The “West comes to town” for the day to talk with financiers, developers, regulators and operators about the growth opportunities in one of the nation’s most dynamic regions. Focussing on our feature projects of MetroWest Rail and the Western Sydney Airport (plus the property & transport developments around them), urban renewal, and strategic corridor planning, ‘regulation vs innovation’ within the cost of development debate, funding and governance review, showcase partnerships and legacy issues and take on the vexed question of how to build and maintain community trust amid construction grief.
