Wollongong and the West Forum
We are excited to invite you to join our forum on Wollongong and the West: Sharing the Value of Two Growth Regions.
This event will bring together government, infrastructure, education, transport, and community stakeholders to foster greater collaboration between the Illawarra and Greater Western Sydney to examine mutual opportunities for growth.
We will also be launching our discussion paper, which has been developed in consultation with stakeholder groups in both Greater Western Sydney and the Illawarra, to examine the critical links, transport and otherwise, that are needed to get the best out of both regions, particularly when it comes to accessing Western Sydney International Airport and the surrounding Aerotropolis.
This event and discussion paper aim to spark more ‘big-picture’ thinking and drive a collaborative approach towards the delivery of improved economic, social and environmental outcomes for both regions.
