GWS Media Forum brings together Sydney’s leading journalists, newsroom decision-makers, corporate comms experts and government communications policy leaders to examine the role and impact of the media on Western Sydney.
Launched in 2023, the GWS Media Forum has attracted some of the biggest names in mainstream media. At our 2025 event we continued to explore the challenges facing reporters and the way modern news is presented, how local communities see themselves represented across media channels, and how the role of the media will evolve with the changing Western Sydney landscape.
